RF Inductors
RF inductors provide inductive impedance in radio-frequency circuits. Air-core, ceramic-core and magnetic-core constructions have different loss and frequency behaviour.

Product & engineering
Understand the product.
RF Inductors is the inductors for high-frequency circuits are used in the high-frequency band from 10 MHz to several GHz. As these products require a high Q (Quality factor) value, most have a non-magnetic core structure, and they are mainly used in the high-frequency circuits of mobile communications equipment, such as mobile phones, wireless LAN, and others.
Quality factor and self-resonant frequency must be evaluated at the circuit frequency. Near resonance the part no longer behaves as an ideal inductor. Nominal inductance measured at another frequency can be insufficient for selection.
What turns activity into demand
An RF circuit buys impedance and loss at a particular frequency. Package miniaturisation must preserve that response. Separate RF inductors from power energy-storage inductors. A shared inductance value does not establish equivalent frequency response.
The commercial boundary
Separate RF inductors from power energy-storage inductors. A shared inductance value does not establish equivalent frequency response.
