APO Research, Inc.

Terms of Use

Draft updated

What these terms cover

These terms apply to access to the APO Research Inc. website, report purchases and related research services. Using the website or services signifies acceptance of the applicable terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

APO provides market research reports, custom studies and analytical products. For a purchase, read these conditions alongside the report edition, license and order details. For a custom study, the agreed project scope identifies the work and deliverables.

The research you select

A research edition identifies the content and coverage being purchased. An access license identifies its permitted users. Different editions can investigate the same product through different measures, geographic detail or company analysis; an expanded license does not add chapters.

Check the product definition, contents, data period and sample before ordering. Forecasts and market analysis support evaluation; they do not guarantee a future commercial result.

Report access and internal sharing

Research reports are licensed for use. Purchasing access does not transfer ownership of the report, underlying analysis or intellectual property.

Single User
Individual use by the named purchaser.
Multi User
Sharing among up to five users within the same department.
Enterprise / Corporate
Organization-wide access, including redistribution rights to subsidiaries. Confirm the organization and entities covered by the agreed license.

The product selector uses Enterprise License for the organization-wide option also described as Corporate License. If additional people or entities need access, confirm their inclusion before sharing the files.

Compare license permissions

Copyright and external use

APO research content, data, analysis, methodologies and reports are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution or commercial exploitation is prohibited.

An internal access license does not give general permission to republish, resell or distribute research outside the licensed scope. If you want to reproduce a chart, quote research externally or incorporate material in a client deliverable, describe the material, audience and purpose when asking for permission. Attribution alone does not establish that permission.

Price, payment and procurement

Use the price for the selected report edition and access license. Prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is required before delivery, except where a purchase-order arrangement has been approved in advance.

Payment methods include major credit cards, PayPal and bank transfer. Qualified enterprise accounts may use an approved purchase-order arrangement. Confirm procurement requirements, billing details and payment instructions for the order.

Do not send payment card numbers, account passwords or security codes in a research or support enquiry.

Delivery and file problems

Confirm the deliverables, recipient and expected delivery timing for your order. Retain the order number, edition, license, payment confirmation and delivery record so the purchase can be identified.

If an incorrect report is delivered or a delivered file has a technical problem, contact support within seven business days of delivery. Include the order number, report title and a description of the problem.

Digital-sales conditions

Digital report sales are final once delivery has begun. Review the edition, sample and license before payment. A delivery or file problem should be raised through support as described above.

A sample request, research enquiry or draft order is not confirmation of a completed purchase. Keep the actual order and payment confirmations for your records.

Use of research and liability

Reports and data are supplied on an as-is basis. APO works toward accurate research but does not guarantee that content is free from error. APO does not accept liability for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of its reports.

Interpret a figure with its definitions, units, period and assumptions. Compare the analysis with the requirements of your decision rather than treating a forecast as an assured outcome.

Enquiries, partnership and career applications

A research enquiry, sample request, partnership request or career expression of interest is a request for discussion or assessment. Sending it does not create an order, guarantee approval or establish an employment relationship.

Reader licences govern end-customer use. Reselling APO reports requires a separate approved reseller agreement; applying to the programme is not authorisation to resell. Commercial terms and responsibilities are agreed for the partnership.

Use the Privacy Policy to understand how information in each type of request is handled. An application is not consent to unrelated product marketing. Do not include confidential client records or unnecessary personal documents in an initial request.

Questions about these conditions

For an order or permission question, identify the report, edition and intended use. For a custom study, explain the decision and required scope so the project terms can be discussed in context.
