Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic material used in a variety of industries and applications to reduce the coefficient of friction. Because of its non-stick properties and high heat resistance, PTFE is used as a non-stick coating for frying pans and other cookware. It makes an excellent insulating material for electrical applications because of its non-conductivity. PTFE is non-reactive to numerous chemicals, due to the chemical resistance of fluoropolymer bonds;…

Dry-mix mortars have become a kind of common mortar in developed countries. In the construction industry, building additives added is essential. However, in developing countries, about 80% of dry-mix mortars are used in the building sector not modified. In many regions, construction experts have only just started to appreciate the benefits of polymer-modified dry-mix mortars. Superconductor is a material that can conduct electricity or transport electrons from one atom to another with no resistance. This means no heat, sound or any other form of energy would be released from the material when it has reached "critical temperature" (Tc), or the temperature at which the material becomes superconductive. However, most materials must be in an extremely low energy state (very cold) in order to become superconductive.
