Ceramic Roller for a Roller Hearth Kiln refers to a high-temperature, creep-resistant cylindrical ceramic component manufactured from fused silica, recrystallized silicon carbide (RSiC), nitride-bonded silicon carbide (NSiC), or other advanced ceramic composites, designed to support and convey workpieces continuously through the heated zones of a roller hearth kiln during thermal processing. These rollers provide dimensional stability, low thermal expansion, high flexural strength, and resistance to thermal shock, oxidation, and chemical attack, enabling uniform transport of tiles, electronic substrates, metal powders, structural ceramics, glass, and other sintered or fired products under temperatures typically ranging from 700 °C to 1,350 °C depending on the material system. In this configuration, each roller functions as both a load-bearing and motion-transmission element, maintaining precise rotational tolerances to ensure consistent firing profiles, minimized product warpage, and stable kiln throughput across preheating, firing, and cooling zones.
