Characteristics of Polyoxymethylene (POM) make it applicable for usage in various end-user applications such as manufacture of electronic appliances, electrical parts, children's toys and disposable applicators among others.

Shrinkage and crystallisation influence moulded dimensions. Grade selection also considers temperature, chemicals and long-term load.

Fillers, lubricants and other modifications change performance and processing. A nominal resin family does not establish every grade's friction or creep behaviour.
