Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP)
An electrostatic precipitator applies an electric field to a gas stream containing particles. Charged particles migrate towards collecting electrodes and are removed through an appropriate cleaning and discharge arrangement.

Product & engineering
Understand the product.
An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a filtration device that removes fine particles, like dust and smoke, from a flowing gas using the force of an induced electrostatic charge minimally impeding the flow of gases through the unit.
Particle electrical properties, gas conditions and field distribution influence collection. Electrode alignment and power control affect the usable electrical operating range.
Collected material must be removed without excessive re-entrainment. Dry and wet arrangements have different cleaning and drainage requirements, and changes in the upstream process can alter performance.
What turns activity into demand
Electrostatic precipitators collect airborne particles by charging them and directing them onto collecting surfaces.
The commercial boundary
Separate precipitator assemblies from fans, ducts and complete emission-control installations.
