Die temperature, melt flow and blade contact determine stable cutting. Material cooling behaviour and melt viscosity influence pellet shape and agglomeration.

The water circuit and dryer are part of the operating result. Startup sequencing must avoid blocked die holes or poorly formed pellets during the transition to stable flow.
