Stone Retrieval Basket is a manually actuated endourological device introduced through the working channel of a ureteroscope, nephroscope, or cystoscope to capture, manipulate, reposition, and extract urinary calculi or stone fragments from the kidney, ureter, or bladder. It typically comprises a flexible sheath, a deployable wire basket made of nitinol or stainless steel, and a proximal control handle. The device performs mechanical retrieval and does not itself provide lithotripsy energy.
