Recovered Isopropyl Alcohol refers to isopropyl alcohol regenerated from used IPA solvent streams through controlled collection, source segregation, distillation, dehydration, impurity removal, filtration and quality testing. The feedstock is generated mainly from semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, precision cleaning, coating, ink, adhesive, chemical processing and other solvent intensive operations where IPA is used for cleaning, drying, degreasing, dilution or process support. Commercial recovered IPA is supplied according to purity and qualification level, including electronic grade material with strict limits on water, metals, particles and nonvolatile residue, high purity material for controlled industrial reuse, industrial grade material for cleaning and formulation uses, and wet or azeotropic material that requires further dehydration or is consumed in lower specification applications. Its market value is determined by waste solvent segregation, recovery yield, dehydration efficiency, organic impurity profile, lot consistency, certificate of analysis, customer qualification and the discount or substitution value against virgin IPA.
