Prostate cancer is cancer that starts in the prostate gland, a walnut sized gland at the base of the bladder in men. The treatment options for men with prostate cancer might include: surgery, brachytherapy, radiotherapy, hormonotherapy, chemotherapy, high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and cryotherapy. In this report, the research team studied the robotic surgery, high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), cryotherapy, brachytherapy, and external beam radiation.
