Polybutanediol is an aliphatic polyester polymerized from 1, 4-succinic acid and 1, 4-butanediol. The molecular formula is HO(CO(CH2) 2-co-o (CH2) 4-o) n-h. The molecular weight ranges from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands. PBS is white or milky white, odorless and tasteless, and can be degraded by microorganisms in the environment. It is also a new biodegradable polymer material. PBS can use oil synthetic raw materials, can be attained by microbial fermentation production, PBS is applied to the plastic shell packaging, stuffed toys, food packaging, disposable tableware, a sexual health supplies, in areas such as biomedical polymer material, also can be used as implant materials in the body, farmland covered greenhouses with membrane, and slow release fertilizer, etc.
